Thanksgiving

Today is Thanksgiving (as I’m writing this, at least. But when I send it, it will probably be the next day). I found various parts of it challenging, internally, but also very rewarding. I had an allover peaceful day. How was your Thanksgiving? I hope it was good. Thanksgiving is a time for family, and tradition. Sometimes it is challenging when the traditions are no longer there.

But I have so many supportive and gentle people in my life, who help me in different ways. Which I am very grateful for. I watched Babes in Toyland (March of the Wooden Soldiers) with Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. It was so funny, and there was good acting. There were so many real moments.

I had a good time with my family today, my Mom and my sister. That in itself is a victory. Meaning that the victory is to be able to spend time with family. Relaxing. Having fun. Not working so hard I beat myself to a pulp, metaphorically speaking.

A lot of things are about control. Precision. The dedication to loving other people, even when they show you hate. To not let hate get into your heart. To be that bigger person.

Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning in commercialism. I think a lot of other people are, too, and they don’t even know it.

As someone once told me, when you’re a fish, you don’t even see when there’s water around you. If you’re around it all the time, it becomes nothing. It becomes air. That stuck with me.

This week, I found keys to multiple problems inside of me. When I am stuck, I think out loud on the internet, until I feel unstuck. Or communicate with people I know about the problems I’m having. Getting different perspectives helps me become unstuck. Then I do things that feel meaningless (meaning the things that I know I love to do, but have lots of doubts with). For right now, it has been giving me a lot of control, a lot of peace, and a lot of power.

You might feel lonely during the holidays. Heck, a large percentage of my family left me due to religion intolerance, and not liking me because I accept all religions instead of just one. It’s very sad, and the phones are so quiet when it comes to many family members. Sometimes I deeply feel the rejection I’ve faced. It’s painful. If you’re facing something similar, know you’re not alone. And that this loneliness is temporary. You will find your family, even if it has to be another one.

I can’t believe how cool the Black Friday is at

Also last week, in the podcast issue of the newsletter, I misspelled Marc-Antoine’s name. His last name was supposed to be Titon, but I wrote Titone!!!!!

Cool AI News From This Week

  • AI Video Brainstorming: Luma AI apparently released a large update on text-to-video model Dream Machine with a new image model where you can brainstorm stuff before generating. I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks really cool. Reminds me a lot of Adobe’s new brainstorm canvas that is upcoming. Perhaps this is the future of ai generation - brainstorming with images before you get the video! Also, you have to hand it to Luma for their great web design. I mean, that’s such a cool website splash page they’ve created.

  • Free Automation: Get on the wait list for a crazy new ai software coming out in beta (should be free), where it will use ai to automate tons of tasks on the internet. Imagine a robot controlling parts of your computer in the ways that you want it to. Very few people know about this, I would hop on the bandwagon if I were you. The new word for this is, “AI Agents”.

  • Advanced Text-To-Music: Suno just came out with version 4.

✅ Some Stuff I’ve Been Working On

👇 Here is some stuff I’ve been working on this week:

  • 🗣️ Finally finished this cool website for helping organizations with media management.

Below is the GitHub folder for it!

The branch for the above website.

  • 🗣️ What the hell, 400 more followers on TikTok?! Yep, some good progress this week.

  • I also did some more video editing for a documentary I’m co-directing, at the Brown University organization Design x Health.

Fun Song Recommendation

I’ve been really getting into the hit song APT. and found a Bardcore Medieval cover of it! How cool is that?? I love Medieval covers of pop songs. That’s kind of my thing. Should I make a Bardcore playlist? I can’t believe the original APT. song got 450 million+ views in a month. Crazy.

The below video also is really artistically inspiring, as far as short films go. It’s 6 minutes, and released the 29th.
